The Johnson River
House is a 3-Bedroom, 2-Bath home that sits on a private fenced
acre of gardens and lawns leading down to a private dock on
the river’s edge. This beautiful house is in a fantastic
location on the Sisulaw River, located 60 miles West of Eugene
Oregon and 10 miles East of Florence, Oregon. It is easily
accessible by car (or boat) from Florence or by car from Eugene,
Oregon. You will enjoy this beautiful home, with terrific river
views from every room. Outside, stroll the beautiful gardens
with over 87 native Oregon plants and wildflowers. Picnicking,

Florence Oregon. . . Marvelous!..
With a growing population of just over 8,000,
Florence citizens and visitors enjoy clean air, mild climate
and many activities, including fishing, clamming, crabbing,
hiking, boating, bird watching, kayaking, dune buggy and ATV
riding, golfing and beachcombing. A favorite attraction for
locals and tourists alike is Old Town with its shops and decks
overlooking the river. Florence also hosts the second largest
parade in Oregon during the annual Rhododendron Festival. Florence
has a community college, a small airport, art and music groups,
numerous churches, doctors, hotels, banks, restaurants and
golf courses. Built to meet the needs of this growing and popular
community, the Performing Arts Center, boat marina, middle
school, library, animal shelter, senior communities, business
and industrial park, and the largest hospital on the Oregon
coast are availaable. Florence provides a private airport with
a lighted 3,000 foot runway and for your easy access to the
sea, the Siuslaw River's mouth extends by new jetties. Two
walls of massive stones jut a quarter mile into the Pacific
Ocean. This was done to enhance river navigation and allow
safer navigation between river and sea.

Location ... Location... Location…
A popular, diverse and rich "playground" destination,
Florence is situated amid the Oregon Dunes and Siltcoos Recreation
areas, providing a host of outdoor activities. It is located
midstate along US Highway 101 on the Oregon Coast where the Siuslaw
River meets the Pacific Ocean after a journey adjacent to a scenic
highway and past the sand dunes. Oregon Highway 126 leads to
Florence (after passing through quaint Mapleton) from Eugene,
Oregon's second largest city which includes a major airport with
service to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Denver and Los Angeles.
Friendly & Fun . . .
This charming and relaxing seashore community is home to some
of the nicest people you could find anywhere. Bustling but
small and concise! Walking areas abound whether it is in
Old Town along the wharf and among the shops or on the many
walking and hiking trails in the dunes, beach areas, and
surrounding mountains. Over 40 restaurants with great diversity
are waiting to serve you.
Fun Things To Do . . .
And More Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area offers 50 miles
of shifting dunes, lakes and forests, making it one of the
country's most popular seaside attractions. In addition,
we are conveniently located to major Oregon Coast attractions
such as the Sea Lion Caves, Heceta Head Lighthouse, Oregon
Coast Aquarium, casinos and outlet malls. Local special events
